  1. Assalamualaikum team of one path network. I just wanted to make a request that you guys would continue the college diaries series again this ramadan as it was really educative and helpful ❣️

  2. Yes, the church does this as well. They manipulate people with kindness and belonging to bring them in. Therein lies the problem – religious belief if often more about emotions and faith rather than reason.

  3. On the final point – it is actually far more than 2-3 years of your life that you lose visa-vis social media – many people today spend upwards of 40 hours per week on social media. If you calculate that amount over 80 years, that is 19 years of your life completely wasted on social media, not including sleep.

  4. As the Prophet (pbuh) said:

“Take benefit of five before five:❤

your youth before your old age,🤲

    your health before your sickness,🤲

    your wealth before your poverty,🙌

    your free-time before your preoccupation,👍

and your life before your dea th.”👏

  5. Brothers and sisters, please help me with some advice. I am a Christian from South Africa 🇿🇦 and I would really love to revert to Islam but I know for a fact that my parents and my entire family would disown me if I did that 😭💔 it really breaks my heart because Islam is the only religion that truly resonates with my true deepest beliefs about our Creator. I grew up Christian, my dad is a respected preacher, but I do not believe in most of the things that Christianity teaches (the Holy communion, the Holy trinity, the crucifixion of Jesus, praying to Jesus, etc). I started reading about Islam a few years ago as a teenager and it answered all my questions and cleared up all the confusion I had about God, Jesus, and many other things.

I would have reverted years ago but my parents would lose it if they even find out that I read the Qur'an or follow teachers like Mufti Menk. I'm 19 years old, turning 20 this year, but they wanna control every aspect of my life 😭 they won't allow me to make my own decisions about things that affect me and my future, they even chose a career for me. I wanted to go to culinary school because I love cooking with all my heart but they rejected this and enrolled me into the University of Cape Town without my knowledge to study law instead, and I couldn't say no because there would've been trouble. I hate studying law with all my heart but I have to pretend that I like it and continue doing it because of my parents, just as much as I hate pretending to be happy with being a Christian to please mom and dad. I don't wanna be a Christian anymore, I wanna be a Muslim!!!

Is there any way for me to take the Shahada and live like a true Muslim woman without my parents' knowledge? Are there any tricks that I can use to hide my new religion from my parents? Can I continue to pretend being Christian after taking the Shahada and if so, how? Is there anyone out there going through what I'm going through right now? No words can describe how miserable I'm feeling right now 💔 any kind of advice will be really appreciated. Thank you. 🙏🏾

  7. The Sunnah Guy talks to the youth in a language they can understand. Great role model. We need more knowledgeable people to connect with the youth like this bc the youth are the future. May Allah swt guide them and guide us all to the straight path Ameen ❤

  8. Sunan Ibn Majah 1740
It was narrated from Abu Hurairah that the Prophet (ﷺ) used to fast on Mondays and Thursdays. It was said:
“O Messenger of Allah, why do you fast on Mondays and Thursdays?” He said: “On Mondays and Thursdays Allah forgives every Muslim except two who have forsaken one another. He says: ‘Leave these two until they reconcile.’”
